Annual Meeting 2026
We are delighted to invite you to the 56th Annual Meeting in Newberg, Oregon, May 22-23, 2026, hosted on the beautiful campus of George Fox University.

This year’s gathering continues our tradition of partnering with a local educational institution to keep costs accessible while offering an enriching program that includes Friday’s reception before the presidential address, Saturday’s business meeting lunch, and the Saturday evening community banquet preceding the plenary address. Registration also covers morning coffee and tea breaks, as well as afternoon beverage breaks—ensuring plenty of time for connection and conversation throughout the two days.
For our Canadian colleagues, we recognize the additional expense of cross-border travel, and a limited number of additional registration discounts may be available; please reach out to our chief regional officer, Dr. Mari Kim, via the conference email to inquire.
To make your stay comfortable, we have secured a limited number of severely discounted room blocks at the two closest hotels:
Best Western Newberg Inn (2211 Portland Rd, +1 503-537-3000)
Holiday Inn Express Newberg Wine Country by IHG (501 Sitka Ave, +1 503-537-0303).
Both hotels feature swimming pools, hot tubs, and modern amenities, and are less than half a mile’s walk from the university campus.
The rooms are available at a severely discounted conference rate $135 USD/night before taxes and fees—a significant savings for our attendees -- until available rooms run out and the discount rate will disappear after April 1, 2026 and return to their market rate of ~$219) a night for that Memorial Day weekend. So please plan accordingly.
Please remember that there are two important deadlines: the first on September 30, for those who require a reply by October 15 to secure institutional travel or presentation funding; and a second final registration deadline to follow. Here is the link for registration
We look forward to welcoming you to Newberg this fall for a weekend of scholarship, community, and meaningful exchange.
