The Women and Religion unit seeks to center women’s scholarship in the field of religion, as well as highlight the lived experiences of women and their roles in religious and sacred texts, spaces and rituals.

It encourages papers from students. The chairs also would like to note that Because women's experiences are so varied, there is often a wide breadth of topics presented in this unit. And yet, we can often find common threads through papers and presentations for shared conversation. This unit also seeks to be a welcoming place for non-binary folks and all who identify themselves as women.
